Alice Dreger, Ph.D.

\*Alice Dreger, Ph.D.\* is faculty in the Medical Humanities and Bioethics Program of the Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Dreger has given over 50 public lectures on the history, ethics, and current-day medical aspects of intersex treatment, including numerous grand rounds and plenary lectures at medical conferences. She has published two books and dozens of articles on the subject, and is generally considered an international expert in the field. Dr. Dreger was a founding member of ISNA’s Board of Directors and until recently served as ISNA’s Director of Medical Education. She now serves as Project Coordinator for the DSD Consortium.
