Aron Sousa, MD

\*Aron Sousa, M.D.\*, is Acting Associate Dean for Academic Affairs in the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University and is also faculty in General Internal Medicine at MSU’s CHM. Aron was a founding member of the Board of Directors of ISNA. His areas of interest include evidence-based medicine, the teaching and learning of medical students and residents, and primary care for adults with intersex conditions. His most recent work related to ISNA includes a review of the literature on hormone replacement therapy for people with intersex who have had gonadectomies and a paper arguing for changing the medical nomenclature to get rid of all terms based on the root “hermaphrodite.”
