Hamline University sociology professor Dr. Sharon Preves, author of Intersex and Identity: The Contested Self will discuss her research during a presentation titled “Intersex Revolution: Sexual Ambiguity, Medicine and Social Change.” Dr. Preves is also a member of ISNA’s Medical Advisory Board

This lecture will be given Tuesday, March 21, at 5 p.m. in room 1020 of the Science building at the University of Minnesota, Morris.

This event is free and open to the public. UMM sponsors for Dr. Preves’ visit are Queer Issues Subcommittee, Women’s Studies discipline, Women’s Resource Center, Student Counseling, E-quality, Multi-Ethnic Student Program, and Commission on Women.
